2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA and AMG GLA 35

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the redesigned 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA and AMG GLA 35. The AMG GLA 35 is a new and faster version of the entry-level crossover. The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA is taller (about 10 centimeters) than the earlier model, creating a larger interior space. The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA has a new 2.0-liter engine that can push out 221 horsepower and achieve a torque of 258 lb-ft. The fuel economy of the vehicle is expected to be around 24 city/33 highway. Mercedes-Benz is expected to keep the cost around the same as previous models, about $34,000.

It’s updated interior will seat five passengers, featuring legroom that expanded 4.5 inches to 38.4 inches. The cargo area will see a significant increase in size by 3.3 inches. The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA will have a new “car wash” feature that will fold in the side view mirrors and closes the sunroof by a touch of a button. All-wheel-drive models of the GLA model have a light function that makes it easy to see in low light situations. The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA will feature updated LED lights and a single-louver grill.

The AMG GLA 35 is a faster version offering both space, luxury, and performance. It can output 302 horsepower with a torque of 295 lb-ft and can go from 0 to 60 in 5 seconds. In terms of price, it should be priced $7,000 to $10,000 more than the $34,000 price tag of the GLA.

The AMG GLA 35 should be available somewhat later than the GLA version, in late 2020. The AMG GLA 35 has an additional feature called AMG Track Pace to improve track times. The system can show you the fastest driving line to act as a virtual instructor.

Both the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA and AMG GLA 35 have excellent new features that should interest anyone interested in a luxury SUV.
