If you are a fan of good brews and great causes, you won’t want to skip out on this year’s Okto Beerfest! On Oct. 14, 2016, head to the Lancaster Event Center for an evening filled with good food, drinks and fun—all for charity! The proceeds from this event benefit the Nebraska State Stroke Association, a cause definitely worth drinking to.
Over 130 beers will be available for sampling, and there are rumors that this year’s Beerfest will be the biggest yet! Attendees can look forward to enjoying craft drinks from local breweries, including Brickway Brewery Co., Lucky Bucket and Ploughshare Brewing Co. Fear not, brand loyalists! Many popular national beer brands will also be in attendance.
Not a beer fan? No problem! There are over a dozen food vendors on site to enjoy! Attendees can also participate in silent and live auctions. Last year’s live auction featured great items including gift certificates, an LED TV and a world class fishing trip package, so this year is bound to be one for the books.
