Mercedes-Benz has long been recognized as a trailblazer in automotive excellence. Continuing this legacy, the world-class automaker recently introduced a new initiative focused on uplifting women in the fields of athletics and culture. While the brand has championed equal opportunity for decades, it is now deepening that pledge by providing enhanced support for women and girls on a global scale.

Key Partnerships

To inspire a global audience, Mercedes is building strategic alliances with influential female figures. A primary example is U.S. tennis sensation Coco Gauff, who joined the brand as a global partner in December 2025. Selected for her extraordinary achievements—including a Grand Slam doubles title and two singles titles—Gauff serves as a powerful role model for aspiring athletes. Her impact extends beyond the court, highlighted by a compelling social media collaboration with Mercedes for International Women’s Day. Furthermore, as of January 2026, Mercedes has become the Premier and Exclusive Automobile Partner of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), working alongside Gauff to increase visibility and empowerment for women in professional sports.

Commitment to Female Creatives

Beyond the stadium, Mercedes is fostering talent within the creative industries. This includes a collaboration with CultedXO, a media platform centered on community and culture. Their joint project, "Driven By Her," pays tribute to the pioneering spirit of Bertha Benz. In the 1880s, Benz made history by completing the first long-distance drive in the Benz Patent-Motorwagen, proving the vehicle's viability and securing vital recognition for her husband Carl’s invention.

Putting Women First

While high-profile partnerships with the WTA, Coco Gauff, and CultedXO take center stage, Mercedes remains dedicated to female advancement throughout the entire year. The company actively encourages women to enter technical fields; for instance, its work with the German nonprofit Hacker School introduces young women to the world of coding. Internally, the automaker is making significant strides in corporate diversity, with women now occupying 26.7 percent of its leadership positions.

In addition to these social initiatives, Mercedes-Benz continues to define automotive luxury and performance with a diverse lineup of 18 model series, spanning everything from elegant sedans to cutting-edge electric vehicles.
