Compact, refined and agile on the road, the Mercedes-Benz GLK is a terrific crossover SUV that luxury car shoppers will love. This model year, the 2015 GLK remains largely unchanged from the year before, only getting a few equipment modifications under the hood. For more information on this luxury crossover, keep reading our 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class review.
The Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class is available in two trim levels: GLK350 and GLK250. The main difference between the two trims is their powertrains, with the GLK350 powered by a gas engine and the GLK250 powered by a diesel engine. Standard features on both trims include automatic headlights, LED running lights, rear privacy glass, dual-zone automatic climate control, driver memory settings, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and 19-inch alloy wheels. The GLK also comes with the COMAND interface, a 5.8-inch display screen, a six-speaker sound system, HD radio and the mbrace2 emergency communications system.
Drivers will also be able to choose a variety of feature packages on either trim. Our 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class review really loves the Premium 1 package, which includes a panoramic sunroof, satellite radio, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and powerlift gate. Add the Leather package and you'll get four-way lumbar adjustment on the front passenger seat, upgraded head restraints, memory functions and leather upholstery. If you're looking for more electronic/convenience features, then the Multimedia package on the 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class in Lincoln is right for you. This package includes real-time traffic and weather updates, a navigation system, 10GB of music storage, voice controls and a 7-inch display screen. For even more luxury and sport features, drivers can choose to add the Lighting package, as well as the Ambient Lighting package, the Appearance package and the Sport package.
Under the hood, the GLK350 comes standard with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that rates at 302 horsepower. The engine is paired with standard rear-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic transmission. The GLK250 gets a turbocharged 2.1-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 200 horsepower and an impressive 369 lb.-ft. of torque.
