Options is the name of the game for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class in Lincoln. This popular Mercedes comes in two full-size sedan or coupe models, as well as several trims and corresponding engines. Standard features on the S-Class include automatic wipers, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, the mbrace telematics system, sport-tuned suspension components and more aggressively bolstered seats.
Drivers can choose to add several different packages to the S-Class models that add various luxury, safety and convenience amenities. Package features include an automatic parallel parking system, power rear side window shades, active multicontour front seats, adaptive cruise control, rear seatbelt airbags, a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats.
Our 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class review really loves the many engine options available on the car. Our favorite options are the 523 hp turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 engine on the S600 and the turbo 6.0-liter V12 on the S65 that produces 621 horsepower. We also found an excellent S550 Plug-in Hybrid S-Class that boasts a terrific hybrid powertrain, which includes a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack.
Safety features on the S-Class include standard traction and stability control, front and rear side airbags, a driver knee airbag, full-length side curtain airbags and antilock disc brakes. S-Class models also come standard with a rearview camera, a collision prevention system and a driver inattention warning system.
