What's New for the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

The Mercedes-Benz GLE, one of the company's most popular luxury vehicles, was fully redesigned for the 2020 model year. The GLE's frame is redesigned in 2020, making the vehicle longer overall and adding more interior space. There's more legroom and elbow space for everyone, and the GLE can now seat seven people. Power and performance vary with the GLE depending on the trim you get. The GLE 350 has a 2.0L gasoline engine capable of a 255 HP maximum power output. The 350's engine gets 273 LB-FT of torque, and it has an automatic nine-speed for its transmission to match. The 450 4Matic has a 3.0L V6 engine with a boost in power to 362 HP and nearly 370 LB-FT of torque. This trim and the GLE 580 have an electric EQ Boost system as well. The GLE 580 has a turbo V8 engine capable of 483 HP and 516 LB-FT in torque.
